Convertible MC20 Cielo to be unveiled

The convertible Maserati MC20 Cielo aimed for its global reveal on the 25th of May.

 

Most roofless cars are named with a simple name like spyder, spider, roadster, or just convertible.

Not Maserati, it has to be different. Cielo which means in Italian ‘sky’.

The Cielo will use the same carbon-fibre chassis as the regular MC20 with more weight which s normal, the coupe tipping the scales at 1,475kg, while power and torque will stay the same, at 630PS (463kW) and 730Nm (538lb-ft). The regular MC20  starts at CAN$255,000, so expect the Cielo to be closer to CAN$275,000.
